Pet Insurance offers a large range of policies for puppies, dogs, cats, and indoor cats. While indoor cats might not face outdoor danger, they’re still facing all types of illnesses from a statistical point of view. The dedicated plan suits them well.
Pet Insurance has multiple contact methods. The company is available for a quick pet insurance quote over the phone from Monday to Friday between 8 AM and 8 PM. Pet Insurance also responds all queries via email but quotes can also be obtained on their official website.
Pet Insurance’s Policy Options
Selected plans for dogs and cats come with different basics and optional features such as routine care which can even include blood screens.
Two policies are available for dogs. The Accidental Injury cover has a maximum annual benefit limit of $8.000. The Accidental Injury and Illness cover has an annual benefit limit of $10.000. Both of these plans can be paired with optional care routine expenses.
Puppies get similar policies at Pet Insurance. The Accidental Injury cover has an $8.000 yearly benefit limit. A higher limit is possible with the Accidental Injury and Illness Cover with its $10.000 limit. Both of these plans cover tick paralysis bills and emergency boarding.
Cat insurance plan include the Accidental Injury cover. Its $3.000 annual benefit limit includes a large $2.600 limit on cruciate ligament treatments. The Accidental Injury and Illness Cover has a $6.000 annual benefit limit with up to $1.000 in claims for tick paralysis.
A separate indoor cats policy is offered by Pet Insurance. It has a $5.000 annual limit. Consultation claims within this policy are limited to $300 per year.
Compared to other companies, Pet Insurance has a small annual benefit limit. Only Pet Secure has similarly-low benefits while Bow Wow Meow has some of the highest annual benefits.
How much do Pet Insurance policies cost?
Pet Insurance offers differentiated insurance for young pets and adult pets. They can be chosen under strict conditions such as age, breed, and de-sexing.
A Siberian Husky puppy can be covered with $53.42 per month under the Accidental Injury cover. The same puppy can be covered for $88.27 per month under the Accidental Injury and Illness cover. Routine care is available as an extra for $11.70 per month.
A 3-year old Siberian Husky can be insured with $55.41 per month under the Accidental Injury cover with a $10.000 yearly benefit limit. To cover their dogs under the Accidental Injury and Illness Cover, pet owners need to spend $90.52 per month.

Indoor cats have their insurance plan. A 1-year old Australian Mist is covered with $40.90 per month with the dedicated plan up to $5.000 in yearly benefits. Extra such as routine care is available for an additional $11.39 per month.
Customers’ Pet Insurance reviews: Here’s what they say
Customers are very satisfied with Pet Insurance. Most customers agree that the policies of the insurer are clear and that all claims are processed rapidly. While there are a few cases of rejected claims, they mostly fall under an insurance plan which doesn’t cover all pet needs, mostly in the routine care area.
One customer recalls having a great experience with exceptional customer service for a rare disease, mitral valve disorder. With a narrow mitral valve, the cardiovascular system of the pet is affected. Three consultants from Pet Insurance made sure the pet was properly taken care of. The claim was reimbursed within a week. Another customer recalls making multiple claims with a puppy’s numerous vet visits. The refund for these bills also went through within a week, even if there were multiple bills to cover.
Overall review and Pet Insurance Impressions
Pet Insurance is dedicating their efforts towards specific care plans for puppies, adult dogs, and cats as well as for indoor cats. The standardization of these policies works very well and customers have their areas of praise within all of them.
The long list of extras is also something Pet Insurance is proud of. These extras can be added to any of the selected care plans. They include procedures such as de-sexing, micro-chipping, cremation, dental illness treatments, and even alternative therapies.
An extra $50 on these policies comes with included vaccination and health check coverage. Flea, tick, worm control and blood screens are also included in this extras pack.
For a company with so many care plans, Pet Insurance is hard to match. However, their cost is only comparable to other insurers with no extras, which add to the owners of the monthly cost need to face.
